Practice Information Update - Appointments
Due to the coronavirus outbreak, how you contact us will be different at the moment. This is to limit face-to-face contact whenever possible and help stop the spread of coronavirus.
The practice is open and if you need to see your GP, Practice Nurse or another member of our team, please ring us on 0208 788 0686 or visit our website our opening hours are 8:00am – 8:00pm (Mon-Fri) 8:00am – 11am (Sat)
Please do not come to the surgery unless you have an appointment.
Appointments are by telephone in the first instance. You can then decide, with the help of the clinician whether you need a face to face appointment. We are finding that many problems can be managed through telephone or online consultations.
Online consultations are available through: DoctorLink
If you would prefer a video consultation please inform the reception team when you book your appointment.
Telephone appointments can be booked up to 2 weeks in advance either online or by speaking with the reception team. It is helpful if you are able to provide information regarding the nature of your problem, what you need and if you have spoken with a particular clinician before about the same problem. This helps us to get you to the right person first time.
Telephone appointments are also available for same day booking through the reception team.
Our team of clinicians include counsellors, pharmacists and physiotherapists. The receptionist can book a telephone appointment directly with these clinicians without the need to speak with a doctor first.
If you are asked to come into the surgery for a face-to-face appointment, please remember to wear a face covering. Measures are in place to keep you safe from infection during your visit to the surgery. To reduce the risk of infection, we ask that you attend face to face appointments alone unless you have physical or communication needs that require another to attend with you or you are attending with a child.
If a clinician has asked you to attend to assess symptoms that may be linked with COVID-19 you will be instructed by reception to go straight to a consulting room. If you have a face to face appointment booked but develop symptoms of COVID please do not attend the appointment, contact the reception team who change the appointment to a telephone call.
Thanks
